When soaked in water for 20 minutes she will keep brown sugar moist for up to three months, keep cakes and cookies moist, keep raisins, coconuts, and other dried fruits fresh, keep popcorn kernels moist, and keep tobacco and cigars moist. She can even keep licorice fresh!
When dried in the oven, cooled, and placed in a sealed container she will keep spices dry, keep salt dry, keep cameras and electronic equipment dry. She also keeps crackers and chips crispy!
